Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift:
• Full-time, weekdays 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM, 4 days/week (one variable weekday off)
On-call required:
• 1 weekend per month (Friday 5:00 PM – Monday 6:30 AM)
• 4 weeknights per month (5:00 PM – 6:30 AM next day)
No regular weekend shifts outside of on-call coverage
Experience:
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a Cath/EP Lab
• Ability to scrub for all heart cath, peripheral vascular, structural heart, and EP procedures
• Strong knowledge of ECG interpretation, lethal arrhythmias, and ACLS protocols
• Experience monitoring diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac outputs, ACT, and O2 saturation measurements
• Ability to assist with orientation, training, and multidisciplinary team collaboration
• Strong understanding of cardiac medications, anatomy, coronary circulation, and hemodynamics
Education:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Graduate of an accredited Allied Health Sciences program (Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, Respiratory Therapy, Exercise Science, Cardiac/Vascular Sonography, or equivalent)
• License:
RCIS or RCES
OR ARRT (CI or VI) with cath lab scrub experience
Certification:
• BLS
• ACLS (required within 6 months if not active)
