Cleaning/Janitorial Technician

The Cleaning Technician is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards at an assigned location. This stable and specialized role requires consistency, attention to detail, and a commitment to ensuring that the assigned facility remains clean and hygienic.

• Perform routine cleaning tasks at the assigned location, including but not limited to:

  • Gather, empty trash and replace liners in trash bins.
  • Clean floors and baseboards by sweeping, mopping, and/or vacuuming.
  • Dust vents, office furniture, equipment, sills, wall-mounted objects, etc., as per schedule.
  • Keep areas stocked with supplies such as paper products, soaps, etc.
  • Clean and sanitize areas such as restrooms, exam rooms, offices, break rooms, etc.
  • Clean high touch points such as glass, chrome fixtures, phones, etc.
• Request supplies as needed to ensure that all necessary materials are on hand.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of janitor storage areas.
• Ensure buildings are secure by locking doors and turning on/off alarm systems.
• Notify the manager when a building requires minor repairs.
• Adhere to specific cleaning requirements as detailed for each location.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the site manager.
• Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to company standards.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• Strong time management skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Meet insurance requirements.

• Consistent work location.
• Routine work schedule, typically fixed shifts.
• Familiarity with the assigned facility and tasks.

• Routine standing, walking, bending, and lifting (up to 50lbs).
• Must be able to perform repetitive cleaning tasks.
• Limited travel as work is site-specific.
• On feet for entirety of assigned shift.

• Reports to one Zone Supervisor or Lead Technician.
• Works with other cleaning staff at the assigned location if location requires.
