Purpose of PositionTo support the Indirect Lending Manager with overseeing the indirect lending program and operations in the indirect lending area. Assist in supervising the Lending Support Specialists, Dealer Relationship Managers and Member Outreach Specialist. Reinforce product knowledge, track performance, coach, recognize, reward, and maintain a high level of service. This position is accountable for achieving various sales, production, and portfolio growth goals for the indirect lending line of business.
KeyCharacteristics of Position
An understanding of credit scoring models, loan products, and effective sales strategies. The ability to effectively interview loan applicants, promote payment protection products, and process loans. The ability to communicate with team members, and to coach to the aforementioned skills. The desire to create team stability by leading an engaged, well-coached team. This position requires someone who is positive, fair, goal-oriented, and who has excellent communication skills.
MinimumFormal Education
Associates degree or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred. A similar combination of education and experience may be considered.
Experience- Mentoring experience in some capacity preferred.
- Two to four years experience performing all aspects of member services, including lending.
- Must possess strong communication, customer service, and sales skills.
- Work in fast pace environment while maintaining quality.
- Must be bondable.
