RN- Observation Weekend Option; per

Position: RN- Observation - Full-Time 7 pm -7:30 am Weekend Option; 72 hours per pay
* Schedule:

Full-Time; 7 pm - 7:30 am;
Weekend hours are defined as 3:00 PM Friday through 7:00 AM Monday. The 3rd day will be based on the needs of the department. All qualified hours on the weekend are eligible for a $15/hour weekend premium

* Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.

* Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.

* Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team.

* Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

* Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred. Minimum of 1 year RN experience; if Nurse Resident, all residency requirements must be completed including clinical requirements.

* Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.

* Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.

* Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Current RN licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing. Health care provider certification (BCLS).
