Henry Ford Health Genesys - Location:
Grand Blanc, Michigan
- Assess, plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with established standards, clinical practice guidelines, and patient care goals.
- Develop and coordinate multidisciplinary plans of care while promoting patient rights, dignity, culture, preferences, and expressed needs.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, safety measures, discharge instructions, and self-care needs.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and other therapeutic interventions according to established policies and procedures.
- Monitor patient physiological status, including vital signs, lab results, pain levels, intake/output, and blood glucose, recognizing and responding appropriately to changes in condition.
- Perform and assist with nursing procedures including catheterization, wound care, specimen collection, IV therapy, and patient preparation for procedures and surgery.
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, hospital staff, patients, families, and community agencies to ensure continuity of care and effective discharge planning.
- Respond appropriately to emergency situations through timely intervention, use of emergency equipment, and adherence to established protocols.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, interventions, patient education, and outcomes.
- Promote patient safety, infection prevention, confidentiality, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance.
- Provide leadership, direction, and support to team members while fostering a respectful, collaborative work environment.
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained within 2 Months (60 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
- Certified BLS Provider specializing in Basic Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. Or Certified Instructor.
- Education:
- Requires a graduate of an approved professional (RN) nursing program. - EP experience working with cardiac measurements and using the stimulator,
- Experience with EP mapping systems
