Grand Forks County is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join the Recorder’s Office as a Recorder’s Assistant II. This position assists with recording, indexing, maintaining, and processing county land and other official records while providing information and assistance to the public.
The position performs a variety of duties involving legal documents, electronic records, financial transactions, indexing systems, and public service. The successful candidate will be comfortable working with detailed information, reading legal descriptions, using computer systems, and providing professional service to the public.

Status and HoursFull-time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, benefits eligible. There might be a variation to work hours and days to support the office and County needs. This position is not eligible for teleworking.

Basic RequirementsAssociate degree or 2-year post high school education is preferred. One to three years of related experience preferred. Experience in real estate, abstracting, records management, or a related field is beneficial. Experience with Microsoft Office programs is required.
Any combination of education and experience that provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position may be considered.
