Overview
Dakota College at Bottineau (DCB) is seeking applicants for a Head Women’s Hockey Coach. DCB Hockey competes at the ACHA level, Division II.
Note:
This position is posted as full-time; however, qualified applicants may be considered for part-time or full-time agreement depending on education, experience, and the college’s needs.
- Demonstrate competency in sport skill instruction and conduct practice sessions.
- Manage the program’s budget and construct/co-ordinate the yearly competition schedule.
- Conduct extensive recruiting and nurture the personal, academic and athletic progress of student-athletes.
- Exhibit leadership and professional behavior when interacting with student-athletes, college staff and the public.
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with student-athletes in-season and out-of-season.
- Ability to travel and work a varied schedule.
- Playing or coaching experience is preferred.
The hired candidate will be able to start as soon as possible and will be expected to recruit for the Fall 2026 season.

Salary/BenefitsSalary commensurate with experience and education. If paired with other duties on campus, there is potential for a full-time 9-month position with a benefits package including family health insurance and retirement.
