Head Women's Hockey Coach

Overview

Dakota College at Bottineau (DCB) is seeking applicants for a Head Women’s Hockey Coach. DCB Hockey competes at the ACHA level, Division II.

Note:

This position is posted as full-time; however, qualified applicants may be considered for part-time or full-time agreement depending on education, experience, and the college’s needs.

• Demonstrate competency in sport skill instruction and conduct practice sessions.
• Manage the program’s budget and construct/co-ordinate the yearly competition schedule.
• Conduct extensive recruiting and nurture the personal, academic and athletic progress of student-athletes.
• Exhibit leadership and professional behavior when interacting with student-athletes, college staff and the public.

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with student-athletes in-season and out-of-season.
• Ability to travel and work a varied schedule.
• Playing or coaching experience is preferred.

The hired candidate will be able to start as soon as possible and will be expected to recruit for the Fall 2026 season.

Screening of applicants will begin immediately and will continue until a suitable candidate is selected.

Salary commensurate with experience and education. If paired with other duties on campus, there is potential for a full-time 9-month position with a benefits package including family health insurance and retirement.
