Assistant Professor

Salary/Position Classification

* $89,000+ based on experience & credentials annual, Exempt

* This position will work onsite the Grand Forks, ND campus.

Duties & Responsibilities

* Teaching in the areas of pediatrics, general physical therapy care, basic sciences, and other areas of departmental need.

* Well-defined, ongoing scholarly agenda and dissemination.

* Service to the department, school, university, and profession.

* Advising graduate and undergraduate students.

Minimum Requirements

* Academic doctorate or earned DPT with a commitment to pursue academic doctorate appropriate for teaching responsibilities and scholarly activity

* Advanced training with contemporary expertise and clinical experience in pediatrics or neurology practice

* Current PT license; eligible for ND PT license

* 3 years clinical experience

* Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

Preferred Qualifications

* An academic doctorate in a field appropriate for teaching responsibilities

* A Board Certified Clinical Specialist from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties

* Completion of an American Board of Physical Therapy residency and Fellowship Education (ABPT-RFE) program

* Experience in clinical research or scholarly activity

* Membership and involvement in professional associations
