UAS Certified Flight Instructor

Salary/Position Classification

* 18.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)

* 10 hours per week

Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

* Provide ground and flight training as an instructor for AVIT 238 in sUAS.

* Maintenance and repair of sUAS training

* Maintain inventory records

* Observe sUAS flight training activities. CFI preferred.

* Pay adjustment can be made for level of certifications/experience

Minimum Requirements

* Interpersonal/Human relationship skills

* Verbal and written communication skills

* Ability to conduct student training without the need for direct oversight

* Knowledge of sUAS operations

* Requires remote pilot certificate

* Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
