- $75,000+ 9-month contract
- 40 hours per week
- This position will work onsite at UND Grand Forks, ND campus
- Teaching – The anticipated teaching load is four sections/courses per semester during the academic year (fall and spring semesters). Courses will include “Business Analytics with Spreadsheets,” an advanced spreadsheet course that provides a foundation for data analytics using accounting data. Additional courses may include financial accounting, managerial accounting, and/or income tax topics. Course delivery modalities will include on-campus teaching and may also include hybrid (live+online) and/or asynchronous online delivery.
- Service – Service expectations include maintaining a CPA license and sustained professional engagement to fulfill faculty qualifications as outlined in the Nistler College Faculty handbook. Additional service roles may include advising student groups, fulfilling service‑related grant obligations, school, college, and/or university service roles, professional and/or alumni engagement, and/or supporting experiential/service learning activities.

- Master’s degree in accounting from an AACSB accredited college of business.
- CPA license (active).
- Experience teaching at the college level in accounting, data analytics, and/or taxation.
- Professional work experience in accounting (to fulfill faculty qualification requirements)
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
This position does not support visa sponsorship for continued employment.
Preferred Qualifications- Demonstrated effectiveness in teaching foundational data analytics skills using Excel
- Income taxation experience in public accounting
- Professional experience recruiting accounting professionals and/or supporting student career development
