Acquisitions and Electronic Resources Librarian

As the Acquisitions and Electronic Resources Librarian, you'll manage acquisitions workflows and keep the Chester Fritz Library's electronic resources discoverable and accessible. You'll supervise two specialists, build workflows for born-digital and open access acquisitions, support license review for the Head of Collection Strategies, and bring data visualization skills to collection analysis.

You'll also shape the user experience of our electronic collections—designing UX studies and troubleshooting access issues.

As part of an R1 research institution, Chester Fritz Library plays an integral role in supporting research at the University of North Dakota, which offers undergraduate, master's, and doctoral programs across fields including law, medicine, aerospace studies, engineering, and the liberal arts. UND is a growing institution, having achieved record enrollment in 2026, with an increasing library collections budget to match.

Come work with a dedicated, focused team of librarians and staff. This full-time, permanent position offers a starting salary of $60,000-$62,400, dependent upon experience, and excellent benefits including full health insurance and TIAA retirement plans.
