Site Engineer

XYZ Reality is the creator of the world’s first and only engineering‑grade Augmented Reality solution built for the construction industry. In addition to the holographic technology that powers the ATOM smart headset, we provide implementation and consultancy on the Data Centre and Mission Critical projects that use the AR solution, ensuring that all schemes are completed on schedule and within budget.

As an Engineer / Surveyor at XYZ, you will wear the ATOM daily, visualising design models in holograms and eliminating construction and design errors that would otherwise cost time and money. You will provide regular updates on potential clashes and verify installations on site.

• Conduct field inspections using the ATOM to ensure works are installed correctly per the BIM model.
• Train new users of the ATOM, including new staff or client/contractor teams.
• Produce inspection reports and coordinate with clients and contractors.
• Process and review acquired data to maintain accuracy and reliability.
• Maintain an efficient workflow, ensuring all inspections are conducted within the specified timeframe.
• Work with the contractor to devise a weekly look‑ahead of inspections aligned with the master construction programme, de‑risking incorrect installation.
• Obtain and prepare the latest approved Revit models for export into Holo Site.
• Link models to schedules.

• Experience or qualification in land surveying, construction/civil engineering, geospatial, or geodesy.
• Ability to operate a Total Station or traverse control points.
• Strong work ethic, ambition, and interest in new technology.
• Knowledge of 3D software (Revit, Navisworks, etc.) or BIM is beneficial but not essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• US Citizen or permanent US resident (no visa sponsorship).
• Clean criminal record and prepared to undergo background checks and drug tests.
