Intern Operations- Construction

• Assist in design and planning of civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, buildings, and utilities.
• Draft design plans, blueprints, and 3D models using AutoCAD or Civil 3D.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure projects are built according to design specifications and regulatory standards.
• Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and maintain records of project developments and modifications.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including construction managers and project managers—to keep projects on track and meet deadlines.
• Participate in training sessions and meetings to learn about the latest trends in civil engineering and construction management.

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
• Ability to occasionally walk on uneven terrain up to two miles per day.
• Frequently lift and move up to 10 pounds; occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds; infrequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

• Sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, twist, crouch, and crawl as required.
• Use hands to handle, feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms.
• Talk or hear and communicate clearly.

The salary for this position is expected to range between $18-25/hour. The actual salary may be determined by education, applicable experience, training, job location, and relevant competencies.
