Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Shift:

Mon – Fri, 8 am – 5 pm

• Designing and engineering custom products to maximize value, improve performance, and enhance manufacturability
• Leading design staff in producing customer-driven solutions and collaborating with sales on design considerations prior to quoting
• Performing structural analysis, reviewing fabrication drawings, and providing recommendations for welding and structural connections
• Standardizing and automating engineering practices to improve departmental efficiency
• Coordinating with vendors and internal teams to ensure design intent is met and supporting manufacturing through technical solutions
• Conducting in-house product testing, recording data, and generating reports
• Facilitating meetings for project planning, design review, and collaborating with third‑party engineering firms

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in structural, civil, or mechanical engineering from an ABET‑accredited university (required)
• Have experience with CAD‑based drafting/engineering software (required)
• Understand engineering design principles for steel and aluminum structures and connections
• Possess strong teamwork, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration skills
• Are adaptable, organized, and able to manage competing priorities and deadlines
• (Preferred) Have experience with Solid Works and/or RISA 3D, a background in steel manufacturing, knowledge of welding principles, and experience using Excel for computation development
