Aircraft Maintenance Technician Apprentice (AMT) IMMEDIATELY HIRING! Aircraft Maintenance Technician Apprentice FULL-TIME Opportunity in Grand Forks, ND
- Starting Salary: $41,600 - $58,240/annually
We’re hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician Apprentice to assist the AMTs with responsibility for the overall maintenance and safety of our fleet within Guardian Flight. This is a key role toensure our team can safely maintain and deliver timely and high-quality transportation services, care and customer service to patients.
Responsibilities- Apprentice will assist licensed Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) while they are performing maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, and repairs.
- Assist with inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment
- Assist with document service paperwork and FAA information as required and adhere to policies and procedures while complying with the company’s information security standards.
- Take pride in sustaining a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
- Use appropriate communication methods to help facilitate coordination of efforts between departments, vendors and team members.
- Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow AMTs and operations team.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license or willing to obtain within 36 months
- Valid State issued Driver's license
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge
- EMS Systems, Aircraft maintenance systems, records and maintenance support and planning
- Ability to work aflexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations.
- Must be acceptable in accordance with the FAA drug and alcohol testing program.
- Must be able to push and/or pull 100+ lbs.
- Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
- Turboprop and/or turbine powered fixed-wing experience
- FAA Inspection Authorization Certificate
- Related experience under 14 CFR Part 135
- Autopilot maintenance experience
- Avionics and electrical repair experience
