Knife River is seeking a Junior Mine Planning Engineer in Grand Forks, ND to assess mine operations and develop plans across the Central Region including ND, MN, SD, IA, and TX. Location of work is Grand Forks, ND.
You will work with a technical services team to design 3-D mine plans, estimate stripping, and support regulatory compliance, with overnight travel possible and a focus on safety and efficiency. Strong CAD skills and MS Office are valued in this role.
