* Job Description:
** - Be an integral part of our cutting-edge Hybrid Operating Room as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
- Work a 40-hour per week day shift with a manageable call schedule — 4-6 weekends and 1 night a week.
- Set the stage for success by:
- Setting up, preparing, and cleaning exam rooms before and after procedures.
- Maintaining room supplies to ensure a seamless workflow.
- Engage with patients by:
- Discussing their history and educating them about the exam process.
- Ensuring proper patient identification in line with our standards.
- Support our Physicians by:
- Preparing and administering contrast under their direction as per our standard operating procedures.
- Conducting pain assessments and responding appropriately to patient needs.
- Play a pivotal role in the administrative side by:
- Preparing Physician fee slips with accurate coding for specific procedures.
- Keeping up-to-date on the CPT coding system and completing charges in Epic and PACS.
- Take on additional duties as assigned to meet the evolving needs of our department and organization.
** Certifications
Required:
** - ND Medical Imaging License | North Dakota Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board of Examiners | Prior to Start Date - Registered Radiologic Technologist | American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) | Prior to Start Date - Basic Life Support (BLS) | American Heart Association (AHA) | Prior to Start Date
