Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a day shift position requiring North Dakota state licensure and ARRT registration.
Responsibilities- Work in a hybrid operating room specializing in interventional radiology procedures
- Position based in a hospital diagnostic imaging department
- Full-time day shifts totaling 40 hours per week
- On-call rotation includes 4 to 6 weekends and 1 night per week
- Utilizes Epic and PACS for orders, documentation, and coding
- Responsible for setting up, preparing, and cleaning exam rooms before and after procedures
- Educate patients about their procedures and ensure proper patient identification
- Prepare and administer contrast under physician supervision
- Perform pain assessments and take action according to protocols
- Responsible for accurate coding, billing, and documentation in Epic and PACS
- North Dakota Medical Imaging License required prior to start date if applicable
- Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA required
- Experience in interventional radiology and special procedures preferred
