Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Diagnostic Imaging - Special Procedures Technologist

Job Details:

• Work 40 hours per week on day shift with call responsibilities

• Call schedule includes 4-6 weekends and 1 night per week

• Work in Interventional Radiology Lab and Hybrid Operating Room

• Set up, prepare, and clean exam rooms before and after patient procedures

• Maintain room supplies and equipment

• Discuss patient history and educate patients concerning exams

• Ensure proper patient identification using facility standards

• Prepare and administer contrast under physician direction according to standard operating procedures

• Perform pain assessments and take appropriate action per protocols

• Prepare physician fee slips by coding specific procedures and staying current with CPT coding system

• Complete charges for exams in Epic and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS)

• Required certifications: ND Medical Imaging License, Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT), Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association

• Must demonstrate understanding of scope of responsibility within license
