- This position is in-person on the UND campus in Grand Forks, ND
- $62,000+ commensurate with experience, 9-month contract, Exempt
- 40 hours per week
- 40% - Teaching
- Teaching will be dependent on departmental needs. A sample of classes would include (but not limited to):
- Clinical Diagnosis I
- Clinical Diagnosis II
- Advanced Policy
- Clinical Practice with Groups
- Research in Clinical Practice
- Clinical Practice in Macro Settings
- Clinical Practice with Individuals and Families
- SWK Elective Teaching activities will also include advising as well as field assignments with both supervision and liaison duties.
- 40% - Research
- Scholarly/creative activities will be determined in consultation with the department chair and will be consistent with department, college and university expectations and policies/procedures.
- 20% - Service
- Service activities will be determined in consultation with the department chair and will be consistent with department, college and university expectations and policies/procedures.
- Highly-developed oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong commitment to collegiality
- High interest in working as part of a collaborative team
- Strong understanding of and commitment to the profession's values, including diversity and social justice
- MSW from a CSWE accredited Social Work program
- Doctoral degree in Social Work OR related field
- Two years of full-time post-MSW social work practice experience in a mental health/behavioral health setting
- Eligibility for licensure in ND as at least an LMSW
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

Preferred Qualifications- Evidence of relevant scholarly productivity
- Eligibility for licensure in ND as an LCSW
- Social Work practice or research experience with indigenous or rural communities
- Teaching or field instruction experience
