- Residential Direct Care Associate III - Youth

This is an ongoing temporary position up to 40 hours/week.

Shift

Hours:

Shifts hours are 7:00am - 3:30pm, 3:00pm - 11:30pm and 11:00pm - 7:30am. Shift as well as part-time or full-time hours will be based on facility needs.

Base pay will be determined upon hire and will fall within a range of $19-$24 per hour. On a temporary basis, hourly rate is $26.25 per hour. Temporary increase in effect for an undetermined amount of time.

As a Direct Care Associate III working with youth in a residential setting, you will provide positive mentoring and guidance to young people impacted by behavioral health disorders. You will serve as a role model, exhibiting a positive and respectful approach in all interactions. You will teach daily living activities, including household tasks, hygiene task, effective communication, and socialization with the goal of helping those you serve increase their independence.

An important part of this position is assisting the youth to articulate their goals and what is important for them. You will teach self-advocacy and self-help strategies to assist the youth in reaching their goals.

You will thrive in this position, if you have a passion for teaching young people life skills and how to overcome barriers that may be present in their lives.

To be considered for the DCA III position
, applicants must be 21 years of age or older and have a high school diploma or GED; and two years of work experience providing direct care to special populations.

If unable to find candidate with preferred experience, will consider filling this position as:

  • Direct Care Associate II, which requires a high school diploma or GED.

This position requires a valid driver's license and successful completion of the assigned defensive driving course during new-hire orientation.
