Assembly Technician

ODRA is a manufacturer of premium road maintenance equipment. Offering a versatile range of street sweepers that are easy to operate and maintain, our products are sold in North America and internationally. With a new 17,000-square-foot expansion, we are growing our space, product line, and staff! ODRA is a small company with a casual environment and friendly people.

As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling and installing mechanical and electronic components in industrial systems. This role requires basic mechanical aptitude, a willingness to learn, and strong attention to detail. Training is provided.

• Assemble components and systems according to blueprints, schematics, and work instructions
• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to ensure all products are built and tested per documented procedures
• Inspect parts to ensure they meet company quality standards
• Assist with the assembly and installation of electronic components in industrial systems
• Assist with the assembly and installation hydraulic systems
• Install and wire control modules, electronic sensors, and electrical harnesses
• Troubleshoot and conduct functional testing of electronic and electrical systems
  
  Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Ability to use common shop tools
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Overhead crane and forklift training an asset (training provided if needed)
• Experience in hydraulic and electrical systems is a plus
