- The Baker at Hugo's Central Bakery is responsible for executing all aspects of bakery production, ensuring high-quality baked goods are consistently produced. This role requires proficiency in mixing, operating bakery equipment, and oven work, as well as maintaining cleanliness and organization of the work area.
- Oversee and execute the production of bakery items, ensuring adherence to recipes and quality standards.
- Operate and maintain bakery equipment, including mixers and ovens, to ensure efficient and safe production processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment by cleaning work areas and equipment at the end of each shift.
- Follow recipes and instructions accurately to ensure consistency and quality of baked goods.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain a cohesive work environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations and address any issues that arise.
- Assist in inventory levels with ingredients.

Education:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Specialized training or culinary education may be an advantage but is not always necessary for this role.
- Basic knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining product quality
- Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Previous experience in a bakery or food production environment is preferred but not always required.
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as bakery production demands.
- Must be reliable.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
