Pay Range

Dependent on level: RN I $33.80 - $50.69, RN II $35.49 – $53.23, RN III $37.26 – $55.89

Minimum Qualifications
  • RN I: ASN
  • RN II: 6+ years RN experience with ASN/ADN or 3+ years RN experience with BSN
  • RN III: 12+ years RN experience with ASN/ADN, 6+ years RN experience with BSN, or a Master’s/Doctorate in Nursing
Essential Job Functions
  • Perform daily rounds on all patients, ensuring quality customer service and addressing unmet requirements.
  • Develop a plan of care based on assessment that reflects the patient’s physical, psychological, social, educational, developmental and rehabilitative needs.
  • Assess the patient’s condition and nursing needs, set goals, and prescribe appropriate nursing actions.
  • Assess, intervene, and reassess patient pain promptly and act per standard operating procedure.
  • Identify early warning signs of a change in patient condition and respond appropriately, including contacting clinicians and initiating emergency measures.
  • Report pertinent observations and reactions to the multidisciplinary team, record observations accurately, and complete incident reports.
  • Establish and maintain communication and utilize educational opportunities with patients and family.
  • Begin discharge planning as early as possible, providing appropriate education and counseling.
  • Assign or delegate responsibilities for performance of nursing interventions within scope of practice.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or needed to meet departmental/organizational needs.
Certification
  • Registered Nurse | North Dakota Board of Nursing (NDBON) or Compact State Agreement – Prior to Start Date
  • Registered Nurse | Minnesota Board of Nursing – Within 12 months of Start Date
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) | American Heart Association – Within 90 days of Start Date
Additional Specialty Certification/Training (Required by Work Area)
  • Procedural Services (PACU): ACLS and PALS within 90 days of Start Date
  • Cardiac Cath Lab: ACLS within 90 days of Start Date
  • Interventional Radiology: ACLS within 90 days of Start Date
Notes
  • Temporary RN license accepted prior to start.
  • Must hold an unencumbered nursing license prior to start.
