Cardiovascular Operating Room - CVOR RN - Travel Nurse

Travel nursing opportunity with TNAA Total Med RN. Specialty: CVOR;
Duration: 13 weeks;

Shift: 8 hours rotating; 40 hours per week.

• Assess, plan, and evaluate nursing care needs of patients before, during, and after surgery.
• Participate in the care of patients receiving conscious sedation.
• Administer prescribed medications, apply dressings, and monitor vital signs.
• Assist physicians during procedures.
• Maintain aseptic techniques and actively monitor situations that could lead to breaches.
• Coordinate the operating room regarding sterility, cleanliness, equipment availability, and supplies.
• Ensure proper handling of specimens.
• Stand and walk for long periods; lift up to 20 lb routinely, up to 50 lb as required.
• Manage stress and communicate with patients of all ages and backgrounds.

• Registered Nurse (RN) with 1–2 years recent acute care experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certified.
• Board or US Registered or International Registered Cardiovascular Nursing certification preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift 20 lb routinely, up to 50 lb as required.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a high‑pressure environment.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning the assignment.

Pay package based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend. Total Med Travel Job .
