  • RN I: $33.80 – $50.69
  • RN II: $35.49 – $53.23

RN I

Requirements:

  • ASN RN

Responsibilities:

  • Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols.
  • Maintains knowledge and skills appropriate for the age of patients served on the assigned unit.
  • Facilitates coordination of patient care within the interdisciplinary care team and provides patient education for safe discharge.
  • Performs daily rounds, ensuring quality service and addressing any unmet requirements.
  • Develops a plan of care based on comprehensive assessment, including physical, psychological, social, educational, developmental and rehabilitative needs.
  • Assesses condition, sets goals, and prescribes nursing actions to meet those goals, including discharge planning.
  • Monitors pain symptoms promptly and acts according to standard operating procedure.
  • Recognizes early warning signs of change and responds appropriately, including contacting responsible clinicians.
  • Initiates emergency measures for sudden adverse developments.
  • Reports pertinent observations to the multidisciplinary team and records them accurately.
  • Ensures prompt intervention or referrals as needed.
  • Completes and submits all incident reports prior to shift end.
  • Establishes communication and utilizes educational opportunities with patients and significant individuals.
  • Begins discharge planning, education and counseling early to optimize patient/family understanding.
  • Evaluates and documents per procedure.
  • Delegates responsibilities to qualified personnel when within scope of practice.
  • Performs additional duties as needed to meet department or organizational needs.
RN II

Requirements:

  • 6 years or more RN experience with an ASN/ADN degree, or
  • 3 years or more RN experience with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
RN III

Requirements:

  • 12 years or more RN experience with an ASN/ADN, or
  • 6 years or more RN experience with a BSN, or
  • Masters/Doctorate degree in Nursing.
Certification Requirements
  • Registered Nurse licensed by North Dakota Board of Nursing (NDBON) or Compact State Agreement; must hold an unencumbered license prior to start.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association (AHA) within 90 days of start.
  • Completion of required learning management system modules.
  • Temporary RN license accepted prior to start; RN Residency Cohort requires ND RN Graduate Work Authorization valid up to 90 days after issue or upon NCLEX notification.
Language Requirements

Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English is required to ensure effective communication with patients, families, and team members.
