Major Responsibilities & Essential FunctionsThe Veterans Treatment Court Mentor Coordinator serves as the mentor program manager and is responsible for the administrative work and coordinating the day-to-day operations of the assigned peer mentor program within a Veterans Treatment Court (VTC).
Responsibilities include:
- Organizing and facilitating ongoing recruitment and training of mentors.
- Acting as a liaison between the mentors, mentor program and the VTC.
- Collaborating with the VTC team to develop and implement a strategic plan for the mentor program.
- Building and maintaining cooperative relationships with community organizations and program stakeholders.
- Developing and implementing a quality assurance program for peer mentors.
- Consulting with VTC judge and veteran's coordinator on organizational and managerial issues.
- Facilitating community presentations and education, developing community resources, and collecting data for the mentor program.
- Performing other duties of a comparable level or type as assigned.
Requires a high school diploma and valid driver's license or evidence of equivalent mobility.
