Truck Driver

The Truck Driver at Hugo's Family Marketplace is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods to various destinations. The role involves operating CDL vehicles, ensuring timely delivery schedules, and maintaining the condition of the vehicle. The driver must adhere to all Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). and company policies to ensure a high standard of safety and service. This is an overnight position.

• Safely operate CDL vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
• Deliver goods on schedule, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
• Load and unload cargo as needed, ensuring proper handling and securement.
• Maintain the vehicle's condition by performing regular inspections and reporting any issues.
• Follow DOT regulations and company policies to ensure compliance and safety.
• Keep accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle inspections.
• Communicate effectively with store personnel to coordinate deliveries.
• Ensure compliance with safety and company policies at all times.

• Sign-on Bonus – $2,000 to $5,000

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) appropriate for vehicle type.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Ability to drive overnight.

• Proven experience as a CDL truck driver preferred.

• Strong navigation and route-planning abilities.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Reliability, responsibility, and strong work ethic.

• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks as required.
