We anticipate the need for one or more Electric Meter Helper(s) to join our Xcel Energy Team at our Grand Forks Service Center in Grand Forks, ND. Starting rate is $32.51 per hour with a thereafter rate of $36.44 per hour.

This position will be posted for 10 Working Days from August 13, 2026, to August 26, 2026.

• Performs general housekeeping functions.
• Operates forklift in loading/unloading equipment shipments, and in moving inventory/stock.
• Fills, cleans, packages, ships, receives meter orders from other areas.
• Delivers/picks up materials as required.
• Completes receipt/shipment/ordering documentation as required.
• Works with other shop and field personnel in prioritizing and completion of work and maintenance of appropriate record and paperwork.
• Accepts additional training required by the company to keep abreast of metering technology and automation techniques.

This position will require lifting, pulling and stretching.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic electrical knowledge.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work and get along with other people, be able to meet public.
• AC/DC Fundamentals.
