Job Title
Pay: $16.60 - 19.06 / hour (Step placement dependent upon education and experience)
Schedule:
M-F / 5.5 hours daily / 27.5 hours weekly
Applicants for this position must possess the following criteria:
- Must possess a high school diploma and have 60 hours of study at a college/university; or an Associates Degree or higher; or pass a competency test (Michigan Test for Teacher Certification - Basic Skills Test, or ETS Para Pro Test - (Math, Reading, and Writing tests). Preference will be given to an individual with teacher certification.
- Must possess experience with math and reading interventions.
- The demonstrated ability to work positively with "at-risk" math students.
- Self-directed with good organizational and communication skills.
- A demonstrated ability to work effectively in both a team and individual tutoring situation.
