Key Responsibilities- Design, program, and implement PLC, HMI, and SCADA solutions for manufacturing processes.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose complex automation and control system failures to minimize downtime.
- Optimize existing control systems for improved efficiency, reliability, and product quality.
- Lead automation projects from concept and design through installation and commissioning.
- Ensure all control systems comply with safety standards, industry regulations, and company policies.
- Provide expert technical support and training to maintenance and operations personnel.
- Select, configure, and integrate industrial sensors, actuators, and other control hardware.
- Expertise in PLC programming (e.g., Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, Siemens) for industrial automation.
- Proficiency in HMI/SCADA system design and development (e.g., Factory Talk View, Ignition, Wonderware).
- Strong understanding of industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP/IP).
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex issues in automated manufacturing systems.
- Experience with industrial robotics, motion control, or machine vision systems.
- Robotics programming and integration experience (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB).
- Experience with industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence).
- Proficiency in SQL and database integration for manufacturing data.
- Knowledge of industrial network design and cybersecurity principles.
- Experience with simulation software for system validation or optimization.
