Salary Range: $76,000 - $116,000 depending on experience

• Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures.
• Analyze and troubleshoot tooling‑related production issues, implementing effective solutions.
• Manage tooling projects from concept through design, procurement, and validation.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives for tooling performance, lifespan, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (production, design, quality) to define tooling requirements.
• Conduct root cause analysis for tooling failures and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain comprehensive tooling documentation, specifications, and maintenance schedules.

• Expertise in tool design principles for molds, dies, jigs, and fixtures.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Solid Works, AutoCAD, CATIA, Mastercam).
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes such as injection molding, stamping, and CNC machining.
• Knowledge of various tooling materials, heat treatment, and surface finishing techniques.
• Experience with root cause analysis and continuous improvement for tooling performance and lifespan.
• Ability to interpret complex technical drawings, specifications, and GD&T.

• Experience with automation integration or robotics in a manufacturing setting.
• Familiarity with advanced simulation software (e.g., mold flow analysis, multi‑physics FEA).
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification.
• Project management experience or certification (e.g., PMP).
• Experience with additive manufacturing (3D printing) for tooling components or prototypes.
