Quality Engineer - Grand Haven Area

Salary Range: $67,000 - $101,000 depending on experience

• Develop and implement quality control plans, procedures, and standards.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Perform internal and external quality audits of processes, products, and suppliers.
• Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues.
• Support the maintenance and improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS), e.g., ISO 9001.
• Participate in new product development (NPD) activities to ensure design for quality and manufacturability.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing) or a related technical field
• 3+ years of experience in a Quality Engineering role within a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency with core quality tools and methodologies (e.g., FMEA, SPC, MSA, Root Cause Analysis, 8D)
• Strong understanding of ISO 9001 or other relevant quality management system standards (e.g., IATF 16949, AS9100)
• Demonstrated ability to apply statistical analysis for process control and problem-solving

• Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
• Lead Auditor certification for relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485).
• Experience with CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, AutoCAD) for design review and fixture design.
