NPI Engineer | Grand Haven, MI
Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We are partnering with organizations in Grand Haven that are seeking NPI Engineers. These companies are committed to building strong teams and are looking for professionals who can lead initiatives effectively. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the transfer of new products from design to manufacturing.
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for new products.
- Collaborate with R&D and design teams to ensure manufacturability.
- Conduct DFM/DFA reviews and provide feedback for product design.
- Define and implement manufacturing control plans for new product introduction.
- Manage pilot production builds and validate manufacturing processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues during NPI phase.
- Document NPI processes, work instructions, and manufacturing specifications.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in NPI (New Product Introduction) or manufacturing engineering within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in CAD software (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD, Solid Works Electrical) for schematic capture and PCB layout review.
- Strong understanding of PCBA manufacturing processes, test methodologies, and quality control principles.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, C#) for test automation and data analysis.
- Experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) integration.
- Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing methodologies.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python) for automation.
- Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) techniques.
