Senior Electrical Engineer

Plant Electrical Engineer (Manufacturing) Capstone ONE Search | Grand Haven, Michigan (On-site)

We are representing a globally recognized Fortune 500 manufacturing organization actively seeking a Plant Electrical Engineer due to continued company growth. This role will support facility and equipment maintenance across the plant's manufacturing operations, leading projects to upgrade existing equipment and systems and support new equipment installations as the manufacturing process evolves.

• Supports facility electrical distribution, manufacturing process controls, and PLC/logic systems, troubleshooting technical issues as they arise
• Develops and modifies existing HMI systems
• Manages contractor relationships, including design, costing, quoting, and execution of electrical, controls, and automation upgrade projects
• Coordinates, supports, and installs various electrical system projects
• Provides engineering support for projects designed and built both internally and by outside partners
• Applies total productive maintenance (TPM) and continuous improvement principles to equipment and process improvements
• Programs and troubleshoots PLCs and HMIs
• Utilizes SCADA platforms to monitor and support production systems
• Partners with automation and robotics teams to support integration and troubleshooting

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology preferred) from an accredited institution
• Experience with electrical systems and/or PLC programming in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of low- and medium-voltage electrical distribution systems and applicable electrical/safety codes
• Strong troubleshooting skills with a proactive, safety-first mindset
