We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and clinically skilled Resident Services Coordinator (RSC) to oversee resident care services in our assisted living community. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring high-quality, compliant care delivery while supporting residents, families, and staff in a collaborative environment.
Position OverviewThe Resident Services Coordinator oversees all resident services required to meet individualized service plans, including clinical and medical aspects of care. This role ensures compliance with licensing regulations and company policies and works closely with the Administrator to meet operational goals. The RSC provides leadership to resident services staff and may oversee community operations in the absence of the Administrator.
Key Responsibilities Clinical & Resident CareConduct and coordinate resident assessments and reassessments (pre-admission, 30-day, 90-day, change in condition, hospitalization, or rehab stay).
Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans.
Oversee medication administration and clinical documentation (EMAR, assessments, care plans, incident reports).
Coordinate services with outside providers (pharmacy, home health, therapy, podiatry, dental, etc.).
Monitor resident health, safety, and overall well-being.
Review incident and fall reports and implement corrective actions.
Lead infection prevention efforts and pressure ulcer monitoring.
Communicate with residents, families, physicians, and care partners.
Supervise resident services staff, including shift supervisors, med techs, and resident support staff.
Hire, train, evaluate, and discipline staff in collaboration with the Administrator.
Ensure adequate staffing and appropriate staff response to resident needs.
Participate in Manager-On-Duty rotation, including evenings and weekends as needed.
Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and company policies.
Maintain accurate resident records and documentation.
Assist with audits, inspections, and required reporting.
Support budget compliance related to staffing, supplies, and resident care services.
Assist with tours, admissions support, and community events as needed.
Experience working with frail elderly and individuals with dementia.
RN or LPN preferred (or equivalent clinical background).
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Knowledge of assisted living regulations and resident rights.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Comfortable using electronic health records and scheduling systems.
