IT Manager | Grand Haven, MI
Salary Range: $96,000 - $143,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Grand Haven region seeking IT Managers. These employers partner with us because they want real insight into candidates-not just resumes. By joining our network, you gain access to roles worth considering.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance and support of manufacturing-specific IT systems (e.g., MES, SCADA).
- Manage IT infrastructure for plant operations, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Lead cybersecurity initiatives to protect operational technology (OT) and enterprise systems.
- Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with manufacturing goals and digital transformation.
- Manage IT vendor relationships and contracts specific to manufacturing software and hardware.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards related to data security and system integrity.
- Provide technical leadership and support for the implementation of new manufacturing technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in IT, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and their integration with manufacturing operations.
- Strong understanding of industrial control systems (ICS), SCADA, and operational technology (OT) within a manufacturing context.
- Demonstrated ability to manage IT infrastructure, network security, and data management in a production-critical environment.
- Experience with IT project management methodologies and leading successful technology implementations.
