Machine Maintenance Technician (1st shift) Position Summary

- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment such as CNC laser cutters, press brakes, welders, powder coat lines, conveyors, and mechanical assembly stations
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Support final assembly equipment maintenance, including tools, torque devices, and material handling systems
- Conduct root cause analysis of equipment failures and implement long‑term fixes
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation in CMMS or tracking systems
- Work closely with production leads and supervisors to coordinate maintenance schedules with minimal disruption
- Participate in equipment installation, relocation, and commissioning
- Depending on workload, will also engage in Facilities maintenance and other related work
- Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with OSHA and company standards
- Maintain inventory of critical spare parts and assist with ordering supplies
- Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement on the shop floor

- 5+ years of hands‑on maintenance experience in a metal manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with laser cutting, forming, welding, and powder coating processes
- Proficient in diagnosing issues on CNC laser systems (BLM), press brakes, welding cells, powder coat ovens, and conveyors
- Able to tune and adjust molds and dies for metal fabrication
- Basic knowledge of PLC troubleshooting and machine‑level controls (ABB)
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Experience supporting final mechanical or hardware assembly operations
- Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical training in industrial maintenance preferred
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods in a production environment
- Team player with demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals at all organizational levels
