Join our team in a vital role within our manufacturing process, where you will ensure quality parts are produced and assembled. You will perform visual inspections and gage inspections of parts produced by various machinery such as welders, presses, and mills, while meeting production rates and efficiency requirements.
Responsibilities
- Perform production and assembly of parts safely, adhering to all safety policies.
- Continue the production of parts through operations required by welding, pressing, milling, or assembling processes.
- Identify and correct quality issues in welded, milled, pressed, or assembled parts.
- Pack parts into various containers as specified by standards.
- Perform required Plex functions including creation and printing of tags, and production recording.
- Adhere to and maintain 5S and LEAN Manufacturing standards.
- Collaborate with work team by contributing and initiating ideas for quality, safety, and productivity.
- Train co-workers on manufacturing skills as required.
- Communicate effectively to avoid unplanned downtime and inform other shifts of problems and trends.
- Inform leaders of maintenance needs.
- Perform additional functions as directed by the leader.
Essential Skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to repeatedly lift 30-50 lbs
- Basic computer skills
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Manufacturing experience is not required
- Willingness to work in a hot environment and wear required PPE at all times

Work Environment
Our large manufacturing facility is clean and comfortable during the fall and winter months, though it can become hot during the summer. The facility consists of six different plants within a mile radius.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Haven, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
