Who We Are

Engine Power Components is an IATF 16949 certified, global leader in camshaft design and production. We serve a worldwide customer base and supply many diverse market segments. If it has an engine, we probably supply a camshaft for that application. We service heavy duty on and off‑road markets, marine and recreational vehicles, light duty trucks, passenger cars, motorcycles, auxiliary power units, racing and high‑performance vehicles, and large high horsepower applications for large ships, locomotives, mining equipment and power generation.

As Quality Manager, you will:
  • Lead the Quality team in accordance with EPC policies, procedures, and practices, including recruiting, training and development, performance management, disciplinary actions, and separations.
  • Meet assigned quality performance and financial objectives.
  • Ensure all products consistently meet customer, regulatory, and internal quality requirements.
  • Plan, execute, and achieve departmental quality objectives aligned with plant and company goals.
  • Establish, implement, maintain, and continuously improve the Quality Management System in accordance with IATF 16949 and customer‑specific requirements.
  • Manage internal audit and calibration systems to ensure compliance and integrity of process and measurement standards.
  • Approve and release APQP deliverables, control plans, PFMEAs, and PPAP submissions for new and existing products.
  • Ensure timely delivery of complete and accurate PPAP packages.
  • Establish and maintain process control systems, including SPC and capability studies, to ensure stable and capable manufacturing processes.
  • Investigate, respond to, and drive resolution of customer quality concerns, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Coordinate and lead resolution of quality issues with suppliers and cross‑functional internal teams.
  • Define supplier quality expectations and lead escalation and resolution of significant supplier quality issues.
  • Ensure corrective and preventive actions are completed effectively and on time, and verify sustained effectiveness.
  • Establish, monitor, and report key quality performance indicators, including customer PPM, scrap, rework, audit findings, and cost of poor quality.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve product quality, process capability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead implementation, management, and ongoing compliance of the company’s IATF 16949 Quality Management System.
  • Lead management review activities and provide quality system performance reporting to plant and executive leadership.
  • Prepare for and lead internal, customer, and third‑party audits, including IATF 16949 surveillance and recertification audits.
  • Ensure quality‑related training systems are established, maintained, and effective, and verify competency of process stakeholders.
  • Serve as the final authority for quality‑related decisions impacting product release, deviation approval, or customer notification.
  • Travel to customer or supplier locations as required.
As an ideal candidate for Quality Manager, you would have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of people leadership experience in a manufacturing quality environment.
  • 8–15 years of progressive experience in quality engineering and/or quality management roles.
