Salary Range: $51,000 - $78,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Grand Haven that are seeking Calibration Technicians. Key Responsibilities

• Perform calibration and verification on a wide range of precision measuring equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning calibration equipment and instruments.
• Maintain accurate calibration records and documentation in accordance with quality standards.
• Develop and optimize calibration procedures and work instructions.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure measurement accuracy and reliability.
• Assist in the selection and procurement of new calibration equipment.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., electronics, metrology, mechanical engineering technology).
• 2+ years of experience in calibration, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency with calibration software and tools.
• Strong understanding of metrology principles and measurement uncertainty.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.

Bonus Qualifications

• ASQ Certified Calibration Technician (CCT) certification.
• Experience with automated calibration software and systems (e.g., Fluke MET/CAL, Beamex CMX).
• Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements for calibration laboratories.
• Ability to perform minor repairs or adjustments on malfunctioning test equipment.
