Lead day-to-day department operations in a retail store in the absence of the department manager or as directed;
Order and maintain inventory in the department with proper markdown procedures to minimize loss and ensure product freshness and quality;
Manage a team that completes stocking, production, and additional tasks to ensure product quality, production planning, accuracy, and date-sensitive rotation;
Maintain familiarity with all products carried in the department and store-wide promotions and features;
Assist in staffing, training, performance management, and career development of associates; participate in scheduling and labor control as directed
