Assistant Store Manager - Day shift

Salary: $18.00–$21.00/hr (based on experience)

Schedule: Full‑time, Day Shift 6:00am – 6:00pm. Availability needed weekdays and weekends.

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will be actively coached and trained to become a Store Manager. This position helps mentor and train less experienced associates and demonstrates effective work habits. Function as the “Manager on Duty” in the absence of, or in collaboration with the Store Manager, assuring proper staffing and prioritization of work.

• Function as the “Manager on Duty” for the location, assuring proper staffing and prioritization of work needing completion.
• Demonstrate high level of merchandising skills across categories, both shelf & off shelves.
• Maintain presentation and on‑shelf availability of dry grocery products represented by Serv‑U‑Success.
• Quickly assess current store status, including shelf condition, holes, signage, and assist in deploying resources.
• Assist in scheduling resources to support daily requirements, maintain flexibility within planned budgets.
• Help maintain clean, orderly & efficient backroom, performing receipt, put‑away, and issuance of product and service materials, and determine accurate Balance on Hand.
• May be assigned other responsibilities and projects.

• Reliable and regular attendance in the stores. Work cannot be performed remotely.
• May be asked to travel to a different location(s) without delay.
• Read, understand, and follow all Serv‑U‑Success policies and SOPs as outlined in the Employee Handbook and Visual Work Instructions.
• Must be able to perform the essential duties of this job with or without reasonable accommodation.
• May be assigned other responsibilities and projects as necessary.

• High school diploma or GED. Additional education is a plus.
• 2–5 years in service industry, supervisory/leadership experience preferred.
• Results‑oriented, organized, methodical, enjoys learning and change.
• Utilize technology – primarily personal devices (weekly phone stipend provided).
• Open availability – able to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
• Depending on the position, valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, and DMV check may be required.
