Anderson Automotive Group of Grand Island is seeking a Full-Time Automotive Office Administrator/Title Clerk to serve as support to our current administrative staff at all local locations.
Postion SummaryThe Automotive Office Administrator/Title Clerk supports dealership operations by handling administrative tasks, processing vehicle titles, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with state, federal and dealership requirements. This role is essential in keeping the office running efficiently and providing exceptional support to customers, sales teams, accounting and management.
Key Responsibilities Title & Registration- Process all new and used vehicle titles, including retail, wholesale, lease, and tradeins.
- Prepare and submit title and registration paperwork to the DMV in a timely manner.
- Maintain knowledge of state and county motor vehicle regulations.
- Verify title documents for accuracy, completeness, and legal compliance.
- Track and resolve title issues such as liens, incorrect paperwork, or missing information.
- Process and release lien payoffs, ensuring timely receipt of titles.
- Provide general administrative support to dealership management and departments.
- Answer and route phone calls, greet and assist customers and vendors.
- Maintain digital and physical filing systems for sales deals, titles, invoices, and office documents.
- Assist with daily, weekly, and monthend office processes.
- Order and maintain office supplies and forms.
- Review purchase agreements and deal jackets for accuracy before submission.
- Enter or verify data in the dealership management system
- Reconcile title receipts, fees, and payments.
- Prepare reports for management or accounting staff.
- Assist with deposits, vendor invoices, and other clerical accounting duties.
- Prior automotive office, title clerk, or administrative experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and high accuracy with paperwork.
- Knowledge of DMV title requirements (or ability to learn quickly).
- Proficiency with office software (Microsoft Office, DMS systems).
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
