DescriptionThe Project Coordinator supports the successful planning and execution of construction projects by assisting Project Managers and Superintendents with project setup, documentation, and coordination. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate project records, managing document control systems, and tracking key items such as submittals, RFIs, and change requests to ensure timely communication and workflow. The Project Coordinator plays a critical support role by handling administrative and organizational tasks, allowing the project team to focus on execution, cost control, and overall project delivery.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Support project setup by assisting with transferring estimate data, establishing cost codes, and organizing project files
- Maintain and manage project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and revisions to ensure accuracy and accessibility
- Upload, update, and distribute project documents through project management systems (e.g., Procore)
- Assist with submittal and RFI processes, including log creation, tracking, and coordination with the project team
- Coordinate and document project meetings, including preparing agendas and distributing meeting minutes
- Track and follow up on outstanding items such as RFIs, submittals, and change requests to support timely project execution
- Provide general administrative and coordination support to Project Managers and Superintendents
- Follow and enforce company safety policies, maintain required OSHA documentation, and support compliance efforts
- High School Diploma, or GED, required.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction, preferred.
