Part Time Veterans’ Service AssistantSeward County is accepting applications for the position of a Part Time Veterans’ Service Assistant!
GENERAL FUNCTIONSThe Veterans’ Service Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Veterans’ Service Officer in planning, coordinating, and administrating veterans’ service programs. The Veterans’ Service Assistant will perform a variety of duties including receptionist, which requires previous knowledge of general computer use. Work also involves preparing documents following accepted formats and construction, distributing mail, and maintaining paper and digital file systems. General supervision is provided by Veterans’ Officer with work reviewed in the form of accuracy, timeliness of work, and compliance with departmental policies.
MINIMUMQUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
Starting hourly wage: $20.88 or more, depending on experience.
