Overview
A Nebraska medical center is seeking a physician assistant for ongoing locum coverage in pediatric neurosurgery. This full-time role includes a mix of medical and surgical responsibilities, with 75% inpatient hospital work and 25% clinic time. The schedule runs Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 5 PM, with call coverage from 5 PM to 8 PM. Pediatric neurosurgery experience is preferred, though candidates with adult neurosurgery backgrounds will also be considered.
ResponsibilitiesProvide medical and surgical support in pediatric neurosurgery as part of an ongoing locum coverage arrangement. Maintain balance between inpatient hospital duties (75%) and outpatient clinic time (25%), adhering to the scheduled hours and on-call requirements (5 PM–8 PM).
Qualifications- NCCPA certification
- BLS
- PALS
- Pediatric neurosurgery experience preferred; candidates with adult neurosurgery backgrounds will also be considered
