Job Description:
The RN in the Labor/Delivery unit is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in the LDRP with specialties in obstetrics, post-partum, antepartum, post-surgical GYN, and pregnancy-related conditions such as hypertension or diabetes. The unit adheres to AWHONN guidelines for nurse-to-patient ratios.
Responsibilities:
Provide care for laboring patients, post-partum, and antepartum patients.
Administer and titrate medications such as Pitocin, Mag, and Procardia.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.
Participate in the unit's orientation and adhere to the department's policies including the artificial nails policy.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of labor and delivery experience
Certifications
Required:
BLS, NRP
Requirements
Required for Onboarding BLS
