Purchasing & Packaging Coordinator B Shift

Supply Chain, Procurement & Transportation Grand Island,Nebraska

Overview: Responsible for supporting inventory, packaging, and supply operations at the Grand Island, NE facility. Ensures accurate inventory counts, organized packaging areas, safe trailer loading/unloading, and efficient material flow.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and organize packaging floor areas
• Load and unload trailers
• Perform inventory counts, receiving, and issuing materials
• Recommend improvements to inventory management
• Identify and correct inventory discrepancies
• Operate computer systems for inventory tasks
• Willing to train on forklift
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Dependable with strong organizational and follow‑up abilities
• Ability to identify issues and escalate when needed
• Knowledge of Word and Excel
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
• Lift up to 100 lbs individually; 50 lbs occasionally
• Preferred forklift experience

Working Conditions: Fast‑paced environment, heavy lifting, Monday–Friday schedule with weekends or as needed.
