Sub Conn, Inc. is seeking qualified candidates for their open Office/Shipping Worker position at the Ord Location.
Duties include:
- Receives and assigns product from production.
- Prepares product for shipping and transferring to the distributor.
- Ensures that orders are shipped on time, and according to the order specifications.
- Double counts orders with someone to ensure the items are correct and complete.
- Packages orders with care and creativity.
- Operates computer and office equipment with efficiency.
- Uses proper phone etiquette when answering, calling, and delivering a message.
- Uses computer software for shipping, pack-list, and e-mail.
- Communicates and coordinates with the distribution center.
- Creates pack-lists and other necessary paperwork for shipping.
- Requires standing, sitting, walking, bending, and lifting.
- Lifting over 50 pounds usually requires assistance from another employee.
- Training is provided.
- Additional duties may apply as assigned by manager.
